Over the years that we’ve been running Emotion Portrait Studios we’ve found ourselves deeply inspired by the women we’ve photographed. We’ve learned that they all have stories to tell, things they care about and causes they are passionate for. Homemakers, CEOs, Lawyers, Dentists, Pediatricians, Interior Designers, Bankers, Waitresses many from right here, many from other countries all living out the dream we had when we first arrived in the US ten years ago from France and the UK.

Mother’s, grandmothers even great, great grandmothers who came to the studio with their great, great grandchildren some only a few weeks old with 80 years of life, love and experience between them. Some were mothers of dogs, you know who you are. Some are mothers of healthy, happy children, sisters, brothers twins and triplets, but some that we remember the best are mothers where the challenges of caring for their kids on a daily basis inspire us to love and cherish all the time we get to spend with ours.

We got to thinking, if they’ve inspired us, then there’s a possibility that they’ll inspire you. Over the next twelve months we’ll be presenting some of these women here on this page and in the Orange Coast Magazine. We wanted to make it consistent, so we’ve asked each woman to pick the emotion they most identify with and how that emotion guides them through life, We’ll be asking them to share with us what causes they care about, what they’ve learned and found important in their lives, and what drives them on to be such remarkable women on a daily basis.

So far this has been the most fun project we’ve ever done, we hope you enjoy watching and reading about these wonderful women as much as we are enjoying putting this project together.
